Kiani, I was playing around with a circuit you've posted and something weird came out of it. It looks like a suppressed carrier modulator.

It is just a suppressed carrier modulator with a truly horrendous amount of harmonics.

You said SSB-SC AM but it’s really just SC AM. It has both sidebands.

Right, this is AM DSB with suppresed carrier or lets say overmodulated so it comes to a phase inversion. @thebugger, SSB is in sense of spectrum and NOT in time domain. How main times do we have to tell you?

Yes, sure. So what is the difference to kianis circuit and yours? Kiani made it DSB because dual supply? You made it obvious with a single supply which was your motivation to call it wrong SSB! Your headline wasn't just a syntax error. It was SSB because you still think sideband is the DC voltage side. You are ridiculous.

It is confusing a little! But only a little... What i understand is. .. Voltage and currents and time are vector quantities therefore have - and + directions. But frequency

Which is 1/T is not a vector quantity... Therr is no negative or positive... A scaler quantity like yogurts, and unlike bananas,, so we Left and right side bands to the centre frequency. Zero frequency is not T = 0, it is T= constant but not zero. So that is why it can not be negative nor positive. Zero frequency, can have any dc value. So for dc time is infinite and not zero. Now is this positive nonsense or negative.
