EC is suffering lately. Let my creat a hyperbolic analogy to give us a better picture of what's going on. Everycircuit and it's community is kind of like an biological organism. It consists of a countless amount of individual cells. Some of them act quitley and some of them can be seen almost everyday. Nevertheless all of these cells serve a dedicated porpouse. Like this organism, also EC is going through some minor illnesses from time to time. They are usually caused by intrusive cells. Anyway the immune system of such an organism takes care of that pertty quick and everything continues as always (Like Carlos for example).
This time there is a diffrent cause. This time some of the active cells turned bad and are not longer doing their job right. Just like cancer. And the entire organism is suffering from that. I see two options now. First, the bad cells are being cured and go on as they used to when they where fine. Second, they are being removed.
Honestly, I hope everybody sees the first as the better option and since we don't have administrative power over EC, someone external will have to do option two.

This is a really frustrating development of this app and community, since alot of great things can be archived when we all work together.

None of you seem te realize the damage you are causing to each other and the community.

I wish this can be solved without any further consequence but it will have to happen soon.

I encourage every user who is not involved in this conflict to present some criticism just to show the dimension of this argument.

I should say that I am more than fucked off with how things have turned out on EC. The biggest fear is that the app will fail as even a vaguely commercial venture and that it will go under, stop in its tracks and die.

My estimate on the codebase of this simulation is that it aint that complex. Yes I mean it. If the documentation of the code is good enough it would be viable to put a team of people together to take the project over.

I am sceptical about this App. Going to places. Thats it. Just a quick check idea,,,, excellent for blinking leds... When you consider SPICE, and CADANCE where you can model 1000,000 individual transistors and fax it to japan and receive the chip you designed hacked by electron beam technology delivered in 10 days... Mobiles need to jump in technology before EC can make a statement, in industry, compete with CADANCE? Noway.. Just a poor app. Useful in the hands of engineers...and nice cheap toy for blinking leds.

@ Kiani, The UI is the thing I like... It is a quick way to get a test on circuit ideas. Ok it aint got the finesse of ngspice or LTspice or QUCS, which rocks, but the UI for exmaple on LTspice is like going back to the 80s!

Right EC UI is interactive. With a diobolical auto scale, useful but out of control.,, its interactively useful on mobile.. The same EC on computer, everything seems so far away.. so its catch22... If Lt, or. SPICE fitted mobiles then UI could be made interactive.... Even EC starts to complain with 10 gates, or 5 opamps,, or control loops,,, . I have seen a version of SPICE with wonderful real time UI running in sun workstation. Looked as nice and nicer than EC..

I never intended to continue replying about this issue because I assumed all the unnecessary disrespectfulness would have stopped a long time ago. I mean for real this all arose from people asking others to be polite when having their circuits critiqued.. yet some of the criticisms continued to be not all that polite. That is it.
