Thank to @Hurz this works: is a current generator with the range 5÷20mA that you can select shifting the position of the potentiometer

Why r u only dependent on hurz? Lol:)

Its a phantasie circuit, right? Anyway i have some time to help. Move first ground to a common place e.g. at negative side of your 24V supply. The collector resistor get 24V instead. Then change the output config of the opamp to a positive max out.

You really want it this way upside down? Ok, just do a little Everycircuit hack and change the output config to "Min output" -10MV, yes Mega Volt!!!

This circuit is never gonna work as it is. I don't even know what it should be. Is it an amplifier an oscillator or a regulator. It has some features from all but i don't see it as a functional unit yet. Give more info what you need it to be. Help us help you :D

@ Shrey : becausr hurz is the winner if the game is everycircuit, he's got skills!

Hurz now works! I'm very thankful.

this circuit should be a current generator holded by a zener Vref.. an exercise of the book

The current generator should drain variable current 5÷20 mA whit the variation of the wiper position of potentiometer

This could be used in an instrument application. Ours very common for instrumentation to use 4 to 20 m amps on valve positioners

That's not a current generator. The draw increases when you decrease the resistance. This is completely normal. You can skip the whole circuit altogether just place a potentiometer as a rheostat and it's the same deal

Buggzy, first never ever say "never"! This circuit is a linear regulator seen at emitter, and with constant load seen from collector side a constant current source/drain. If you have questions how it works do not hesitate to ask us all, but stopp being rude and Lelox93 might write you some descriptions.

amuses her to say I made the shit! I did not think that an English like you whom I admire door could be so stupid. plus you made interesting circuit! revenge !!!!
