I finally got it working in a simulation. It takes several seconds for the oscillation to start.
The key values to tweak were the timebase and the transformer inductance.
A timebase of 5us/s and a transformer inductance of 200 microHenries were the values I found.
These values produce an output frequency of about 65kHz.
