Don't know why but the simulator doesn't work with the boost converter. Your circuit is correct.

With this big output cap and this fine simulation time setp caused by 500kHz driver clock for the mosfet. Also the mosfet is a little weak to drive an inductor of 78uH. This need a little more powerful one http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5850949320179712
