Bathroom light fan switch

One mayor switch turn a light on. Another switch turns a second light on only when the first is on. The mayor switch can turn all lights of at once. 
This solution I use in my bathroom. The mayor switch is for the light and the other is for the ventilation when I take a shower. After taken a shower I don't want continiously fan noise.

Well I think this is really cool but I cannot turn off the fan when the light is on!!

I would just wire them to separate switches, then you can leave the fan on w the light off (remove offensive odors while not in bathroom without wasting extra energy)

One of those "why simple if you can make it complicated" cases. Like Richard said: Just use two separate switches and you can turn on or off whatever and whenever you want.

Well like the topic start sais: he doesn't wan't continues fan noise. I would choose a timer. 10 minutes after the main light goes off the fan turns off :-P

I'm working on a single switch turns on light and fan TOGETHER - both remain on while switch is left ON. Turn switch OFF and light goes off immediately, while fan runs on for 3 - 7 minutes (non-user adjustable trimpot). All installed behind wall switch with only 3 wires - 240v hard active, 240v light active, 240v fan active (NO 0volt Neutral necessary). Anyone seen anything like this?

Use a double pole switch, ive seen crap mess up from being halfway hot or hot with switched neutral.

The one who installed the bathroomelectronics made it hard to make adjustments. No centralboxes for the electricity nor tubes for the wires. So I came with this solution. Creating an extra switch would be the best solution and in my case the hardest task. After a shower when I use a towel to dry myself the fan will continue. Takes a couple of minutes. Just enough to clear the mist. So no timer needed. Cheap mod €5,-.
