Low battery voltage light

Led lights up when voltage drops bellow the desired setting. Voltage is set by adjusting zener diode to desired voltage. Then adjusting led resistor till led stops blowing.

Good start, low led current at initial switch on then goes a lot higher about a volt lower could be a problem.

Thanks for the comment BillyT. I took your advice and tweaked a couple resistors to help clean up the fade on. Still a small fade up between 20.8 and 20.7. Very small not sure it would be noticeable.

I have built a few that have worked for me in the past. To say I'm an expert at it no. I usually will have a project to do and figure it out from there. Also others on here and online help me out when stumped.

Suggestion; 270 Ohm led resistor, 2V zener across the led.
