NPN forward biased also at 500mV

Shouldn't the NPN transistor behave like a switch (not to pass through current, when the base V is under 0.7V) ? In the provided example, although base is 0.5V, the emitter current still exists (and beta100 multiplied) Please advise what am I missing ? Or maybe it's an app bug ?

Nothing is ideal. 227nA=0.000000227A=very less

I will correct myself: After changing the voltage source to Wave form, it can be definitely seen that emmiter current raises after the source V gradually raises above 0.7
