Teachers to unclutter EC, can you please post home work as public, so that students can post their work as unlisted and attach their efforts address to your assignment.

This is a good idea, even if some years ago a teacher posted his homework as a simple request of solution of a circuit, without any refer to student homework and I solved it , he was not very happy to build and publish another exercise for his students... Exist the possibility that another student want play and solve homeworks not for him.

I tried this a week ago, but it didn't work. Maybe try emailing EveryCircuit about it. If two or three users contact them about the same thing, they might do something about it.

Also, this community needs a moderator, big time.

Hi, I hope that you all are doing well. I'm writting to you in regards to the issue of students posting homework/labwork publicly in the community. I understand that a lot of schools/students have purchased this app for that purpose, which is fair enough due to the covid-19 pandemic, but what's bothering me and a lot of other community members is that these assignments are being posted as public posts and are cluttering the community with posts that the majority of the members cannot relate to. Also, the assignments push down actual, useful posts. The inundation of the community with assignments must be curbed in order to keep the quality of public posts high (which is something that we all must aim for). In order to do that, I recommend taking the following steps: - Contact the institutions with an active contact and instruct them and their students to save all assignments as unlisted or disable the public visibility mode for such users through a server side update (which is fair enough since they have purchased the app to do assignments and not no post quality content in the community). - Assign the role of moderator to two active (and mentally stable) community members so as to curb unwanted content. The community has always lacked proper moderation, due to which it has gone haywire. Seeing as the developers have no interest in developing/moderating the app whatsoever, I think it's fair to have two community members moderate the community. We are active in the community. We know who are the trouble makers and who are the well behaved ones. We can do a good job of keeping the community in good shape. - Add a post report feature, just like a comment report feature (I have requested this simple feature time and again, but to no avail). This is an important feature in order to keep the community free of spam. - And last but not least, we need you, the devs, to take intrest in the app and in the community. Do not ignore us. Thanking you Yours sincerely Prathik P

It's such an old issue on EC. I barely use the public aspect of EC anymore. Hope you all are doing well.

I think that they're alright, they're just missing valid explanations about what the circuit does. if it was my class, you'd all fail for not explaining what the circuit does
