The lamp represents and approximates the demand of the load. The factory PS that came with the computer says it puts out 1.75A at 19V for a total of 33.25W. I designed this cct with parts I know I have on hand which is why I have 2 zeners in series. The MOSFETs are IRFZ46N, which boast 16.5mohm ON Rds, 53A continuous Idrain and integrated 55V avalanche diode. PS: This is my other account that I use to run EC 2.16. 2.18 came out a bit doughey imho.

A practical version could probably benefit from an added push-pull stage to drive the gate of my fet as hard as possible to minimize switching losses.
