Poor mans LED boost

add an inductor to boost the current though a single LED in a set of LEDs

These are diodes not leds(light emitting diodes), also don't really need current to be boosted through an led as they only require on average 20 milliamps. That is only 0.02 amps, not a lot. Here you have 250 milliamps, that will fry an led as that is a quarter of an amp, or 0.25 amps, over ten times the rated current of most leds.

You mean to boost the voltage? The current shoulnt matter as much as the LED will only need a small amount of current
