This circuit is the Chua diode with a very simple inductor circuit included. Output shows a chaotic signal. Frequency outputs from 4.4kHz to 20kHz so would have applications for sound distortion. But I'm really interested in the higher frequency encryption applications. More to follow.

some time ago there were some interest through users in this type of oscillators. as i remember sine-eye build many of such and post here and few other users also. there should be some of such available. try to search for Van Der Pol chaotic oscillator for example i don't know but maybe a rossler circuit is also available

Secu's right zee- I bet you looked all over the net, but did ya check EveryCircuit?! There Are examples to be found, most of 'em by hurz tho =^| bugger had a couple I think. Secuture's was the first one I saw- published over a year ago now. See what you can find here, and remember it's the "double-scroll" your after!..

Oh, Secuture- I did build a couple but they're not posted. I was trying to get one in particular just right so you'd be proud- but I took way too long and that was right around the time you... went on vacation. I was bummed so I kept it private. I did post a screenshot of the awesome waveforms it makes over on G+..
