i trying to write a circuit i've found on you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaqftJUQixU but i don't find some components, maybe someone can help me!

You need to ground the 9v supply, this also seems to be the wrong way round. The 1k resistor you have at the bottom should be a potentiometer, also there should be a 25uf capacitor on this.

Don't forget to feed it with an AC signal at the 5uf capacitor and monitor the output on the other side.

The 25uf cap should be connected to the wiper of the pot. Try switching the polarity of the 9v supply.

two things are wrong 1. 470kOhm suppose to be 470 Ohm! The voltage source must be turned around for -9V supply. After that you have plenty of gain, but already at very little input it does your wanted destortion. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5916214303129600

Thanks a lot for your help, to be honest i barely know what i m doing, i m a beginner and i would love to get into audio electronic circuit but i find it difficult. i would like to build a VCO so i m trying here to learn how to read schematics.

anyway, check the 9V battery orientation (its still wrong) and the input voltage from AC source

orientation or change it to -9V. Input can be low at 1mV! 1V is muchhhhhhhhh to high
