If we calculate the minimum current gain so that the circuit behaves as an oscillator using the Barkhausen Criteria, we can show that the current gain must be 3 and the oscillating frequency is given by 1/(2*pi*sqrt(LC)) where L is called inductance and the C is the capacitance. Notice that we have a 200 Ohm resistor because that resistor is always double the resistor below it, the 100 Ohm resistor. That is, we always need a 2R resitor (above) and an R (below). Shake the screen up and down quickly, either by shaking your phone or dragging the screen up and down to start the circuit!
