This uses only three components. A power source, an unrealistic glitchy 555 timer, and a capacitor.

Actually, you can make it two components by removing the capacitor and connecting the output to the threshold and trigger pins, but that doesn’t count because it has infinite speed since there’s no reactive component or 555 timer delay to limit the speed, although it is actually realistic.
