Resonance freq to inductance ======================== When we know cappacitance value, and when we can measure resonance frequency of LC circuit we can provide unkown inductance using formulas: f = 1/2*pi*(LC)^0.5 for calculate unknown inductance L = 1/4*pi^2*f^2*C you can check how change frequence when measure bigger coil.

yes this is a part of circuit. Any uC can send pulse high and low, after that measure few pulses on the output for extract resonance frequency and recalculate it to L or C. I did never build this, only try to check how it work and understand this idea. Thanks to EC where everythings is perfectly show.

@wegi1 Now after the explanation l am more confused. It is ok if it makes sense for you and you got your answer, but what about us, . You seem ti invite us for lunch and you give us your empty dishes ti wash. ( no offance)

Added loop. I'm not sure how it affect to frequency. @kiani I'll add formula in describe hope will be OK. I'm not HW guru just try explore it.

I think you had a loop ( LC) loop. Csuse yiur intendion is to mesdure inductance using the frequency. I am not a guru either, but mabe we make constructive comments on each other circuit we will become guru. i found writing describtion trying to make others understand it helped me understand better.

It is a different method to yours, i think yiur method is more accurate, but mine is quick., but not so accurate. Good luck

I saw this, l love simplicity but honestly after read comments there is much complicated.
