Not so final version of my LED lamp. Galvanic isolation, current limiter (no current peaks when turning off). Just a little bit lazy at start. Remember: this very circuit is designated for 3 LEDs @ 20 mA. If you want LEDs @ 30 mA or even more LEDs, you have to set the current limiter again.

Far away from final ;-) 250Watt @119Ohm just to power 3 x 40mW LEDs need some rework. Keep it up and don't forget P=U×I

To reduce power loss, maybe try to use the teansformer to step down the voltage closer to the LEDs forward voltage

Also might want to fix up your AC source accordingly before adjusting the transformer. A 230V source has 325V amplitude.
