A few things to notice about this circuit is, 1:-The Power Supplies current draw is a bit high for the circuits function. 2:- current shunting a Led is not the most effective form of light control. 3:- the 555 is capable of lighting up a few Leds, so the transistor is not really required. Hey Billy, I tried to do it that way at first but I dont know what I did wrong that it wasn't working, the sim kept on crashing. I think it was that I had no resistors and that was crashing the sim. Since that didn't work I used a NOT gate instead. Thanks for the circuit and pointing out the flaws, I appreciate it.
