How to make three or more input gates......... the four gates form two three input nand gates.

Is this correct? It seems to work the same whether you have 1, 2, 3 or 4 gates on, or off. Maybe it's me.

You might be right, the question was, "how do you input three sources into one two input gate"............. in this example I double the gate count........ I could have done it with one nand and one and to create one three input nand gate I guess.

But the purpose of doubling was to make it clear for redvalor1 on his particular jk flip flop due to the fact the EC does not have three or more gates.

Three input gates rather.

But, they can be created, no? Through the use of creative logic. I think you can, but it will take some thinking. I don't do well with logic circuits. I'm an analog guy.

@UncleRick, Yeah, I agree with you it should be simplified as much as possible to cut down on chips used and cost, but I was just responding to @redvalor1's inquiry for his specific project at the time, I did not want to confuse the young lad since he said he is a high school kid and getting started in electronics.

@ferlop- it's good of you to offer help and solutions to other users. It isn't unappreciated, but I think you may have misunderstood what @redvalor1 was trying to accomplish. I believe he was inquiring how to tie in two separate data inputs, plus the clock input into the first two (normal) gates of the circuit. Not that he needed logic gates with three or more inputs themselves...
