The op amp give the rms voltage value on the resistor. Vr = 3.86 V Vpeak= Vr / PWM = 7.72 V Ipeak = Vpeak / R = 15.4 A Ppeak on resistor = R * Ipeak^2 = 118.58 W Prms on resistor = Ppeak * PWM = 59.29 W Irms = Ipeak * PWM = 7.72 A Total Power = Vbatt * Irms = 64.85 W Pmosfet = Ptot - Prms = 5.56 W Rds₍ₒₙ₎ = (Vbatt - Vpeak) / Ipeak = 0.044 ohm Monitoring the battery voltage , and resistor voltage, you can simply change the pwm signal to change the power.

Each time your mosfet opens it basically connects the + to the - of the left supply, ie a short circuit showing 15A flowing through there.

The PWM is the Ton/Toff .For example with a PWM of 0.8 you have high signal for the 80% of the period, and 20% low signal. Very esay

Remeber that the mosfet isn't a perfect switch. You have power loss.

Not to worry...it's basically sound...just strangely described. It's easier just to look at the shown EC values: Vacross mosfet= 0.688, Current I through mosfet=15.4 so When R=V/I then Rmosfet=0.044 Ω (ie Rds₍ₒₙ₎)
