I wonder what does the resistor do and how does the not logic gate works

The drain voltage seems to go up to 200 volts or more, and the current up to 20 amps and 60 amps peak, I guess a realistic power supply would be a nice addition in this case.

That's peak values. The average current will be something like 5-6A. There's something else bothering me. 100fF is a very small capacitance value. Even the winding capacitance will be greater. I'm not sure it'll be stable, or if it'll even work.

In real life i will not use voltage over 15v

No need to adjust it. Just use proper filtering. A bulky 4.7mF capacitor at 50V will do.
