80.16 Hz, 91.67% duty cycle (LED on 8.3%, which is a little too much for me)

Period: 12.47 ms
Thigh: 11.43 ms
Tlow: 1.03 ms

555 can sink 200mA, so no need for an extra tranaistor

Would it be possible to output to an amp in order to drive a whole string of LEDs?

Elemt, you can but you need a transistor, the output if the ic will drive the transistor/IGBT
