1) Wait a few seconds before pressing the button initially, and hold it down until one of the two transistors turns off, leaving the other on.
2) After pressing, wait for the transient to end before pressing it again.
3) If something doesn't work, increase the time base to 1s, wait a few seconds, return to 50us, and then try again.
