This is a particular type of connection of a 1:1 transformer that steps up 100V to 200V. If you change the turns ratio for example say 2:1, you will get the added output of both sides i.e, (100+50)=150V. In this way transformer will boost up the voltage with almost drawing half the required power(in 1:1) and doubling the voltage.
