Capacitor-regulated motor

A fixed version of the last one, this definitely proves the point about the motor being able to spin. It does. You just don't notice it spinning until you give it like 250 volts because it moves really slow. Again, short description says it all!

The motor spins at the set speed with the set voltage applied, but you have to set the timebase at 1/1 or else you won't see anything.
