A pll sstc (phase locked loop solid state tesla coil) works by using an oscillator on a tesla coil that adjusts its frequency by following a feedback from the tesla coil. In reality i use cd4046 as the phase locking oscillator and here's the finally working videos:

I use fgl40n120igbt as switch on a tesla coil with 3 turns on primary and 933 turns on secondary coil. The coil is 140mm x 70mm with ~470khz resonant frequency. I also use an interrupter to have biggg sparks and to not Burn the variac(500W).it makes 16cm sparks!
