See in physics "- "refers opposite direction so -6kV means current flows in opposite direction and + 6kV means actual direction or crest means positive and trough means negative in a wave .BY RITHIN PREM STUDING IN CLASS 10

thank you. I do understand that but is the negative actual energy. I don't know how to explain other than my positive peak is around 2kv and negative peaks around -6kv so does that mean there is 8 kv of energy at the sec hv + being in the range of +2kv to -6kv?
