1.5 V LED Flasher

This circuit can flash a green LED or red one by powering it 1.5V without any inductor.
I tried it and it's OK, but unfortunately it doesn't work on this simulator!

It is finely balanced. Perhaps a few minor tweaks, especially the resistor on the npn emitter here might help?....hope so. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6456622485864448
