* Up to 1 amp. but can be increased by raising voltage on primary capacitors and/or changing the LDO to a switch mode
* LDO can be changed to a small step down switch mode regulator to reduce loss and heat dissipation

Try changing the load to the lower right.
The voltage on the primary capacitors is changed by altering the 82 k resistor in the feedback from these capacitors. When doing this, the 150 k resistor at the top left must be changed proportionally (i think, otherwise by the same amount).
