Planning to build a digital voltmeter. First needed to attenuate the input to the 5 V ADC's work with and use a sign bit.
Update:
I will build a digital voltmeter with two variable ranges using an 8 bit ADC.
The voltmeter would work from 1 to 24 V with one range and from 0 to 1 V in the other range.
Outputs are a sign bit (green), range bit (orange) and the conditioned voltage (red), which fits the input to the 5 V maximum voltage of the ADC.
Now with the new relays, the circuit can autorange. You can try it by setting the source to voltages less than or greater or equal than 1 V and waiting some time for the relays to activate.
I kept the second source just because I like the test signal I made for the older version, although it cannot find solution because of an impulse input to the relays.
