Beautiful patterns arising out of simple math. The current through each resistor is based on the voltage across that resistor. This voltage is the difference between two AC sources, one connected to each end of the resistor. Since these two AC sources are varying at different frequencies, not only does the voltage between them change over time, but also the rate at which this change occurs also changes over time. This multi-layered fluctuation is what creates the beautiful patterns. Each resistor shows a slightly different pattern.
