Forward-active region The voltmeter voltage is controlled by the independent current source. If the current source is 10uA (=0.7V), ammeter Ic = B*Ib. More precisely Vb > Ve (forward biased) and Vb < Vc (reversed biased). Vb = Ic * Rc = 1mA * 1kohm = 1V = 1V (<10V) Vce = Vc - Vb = 10V - 1V = 9V Ic = Ib * B = 10uA * 100 = 1mA That's it, 10V input (independent voltage source) = 9V output (voltmeter) with Ic = 1mA. Notice: 1. Bad value: B = 100.
