A circuit that creates an AC signal from a DC supply is called an oscillator. A circuit that produces AC power from a DC supply is called an inverter. This circuit is technically neither because it actually just produces an sinusoidal AC signal from a square wave AC signal. You could call it a resonator or a waveshaper i guess. What's it for?

I think the actual resonator is called LC tank.
