The title hopefully says it all Edit; I have been informed that this might not be an tazer at all, but this circuit would be able to create a spark

Tasers do not use relays, they use capacitors

The capacitors for this usually have VERY low capacitance with a high voltage, which allows them to charge and discharge quickly, creating the taser sound you hear

It would be the power supply, then the transformer, then the capacitors

I've not seen any description or definition of a Tazer that states how the voltage should be generated. Have you? This may not be the best design for one though.

Ahh well thanks im quite new to electronics, but I think this would be able to make a spark, the relay is mostly so dc could work in a transformer, but some kind of pulse curcuit could make the same effect right?

I was just trying to replicate a type of tazer that I made that uses a module that uses a pulsecurcuit connected to a transformer which outputs a high voltage from a low voltage

This can be done, just be sure to have an ignition coil from a car and this will make 4cm sparks

if you're new to electronics we recommend you download an app called "Lessons in electrical circuits"

@Zesoldier the circuit you described in your previous comment sounds like a flyback driver

Lol, why are so many of EC users interested in Tasers and DIY self electrocution devices?

Do you have enemies? LOL

I made a small tesla coil that makes 5 cm sparks but that's just for playing with the sparks and listening to music with style ;)

I see. Well, take care, it takes only milliamperes to stop the heart :-)

Nah i touched it lot of times

That hurts but it's awesome touching a spark

@Robert_Kidd, They are usually a Marx generators

True.

But if I found a way to make 10kV with a bit of string and 2 bananas then I could use it as a Tazer.

Taser pins outside of the box to zap someone is recommended, not sure about holding the +/- strings but i advise against it.
