Thanks for the leaner schema ... but placing the capacitor to 1 mF do burn the led when I switch off the circuit

Put a 5.1V zener at the output to prevent led burnout with the higher capacitance

The led current is a bit too high, use a 150 Ohm resistor, this will help. A zener stabilized output will give a smoother output voltage.

thanks for the zener tip , I changed it and it looks ok now , i do not succeed to burn it anymore
