Ohm's law U=I.R so U=0.303x30=909mV

V=IR so V = 0.303 x 30 then V= 9.09 volts drop across the 30 ohm resistor here. or 10-0.909 as shown = 9.09v

0.909v drop across the 3 ohm resistor plus the above give the circuit total of 10v

We all make errors, it's completely normal (you could soon find loads of mine !). It is worrying if you find someone who firmly believes that they never do.
