Single OTA oscillator from the LM13700 datasheet.
Note the switch must be closed prior to starting the
simulation, once it starts the switch can be opened
allowing the circuit to operate correctly.

How did you know that switch would make it work and where to put it? What a terrible work around I wish this app got fixed

I find it fixes whenever you have a transistor in the feedback loop and the simulator won't start

The switch bypases the transistor temporarily and allows the circuit to work, you then open the switch and most times the circuit works as expected. I agree there's a lot of limitations with EC, but it's very intuitive to use and ideal as a learning aid up to a point, then you need to look for something more grown up like SPICE, As for mobile apps I have been using one called circuit studio which seems to have a wider capability than EC. It can do custom parts but I haven't figured out how yet.
