12V to -5V Buck-Boost Converter

A buck boost converter modeled after Introduction to Power Electronics (Coursera) Homework/Quiz #2. I couldn’t quite figure out how to make the MOSFET more like an ideal switch so I just played with its parameters until I got the correct output.
