Twelve Xbox 360 power bricks to power vehicle stereo amplifier(s) and subwoofers in home.  Also has indicator lights showing if one power brick or multiple fail.  (Lamps = amplifier shown max output 1Kw)

This could work. There are 2 things to consider: 1. Change it to get the voltage you need for your amp or what not. 2. Find components that can handle high currents

Yes it does work, I'm currently converting it from test phase to final phase. Neighbors don't like it lol Right now I'm configuring a separate circuit to charge the capacitor(since it is a super capacitance 20.0 Fared and will trip the power bricks auto protect and shut them off) also remember that a regular cars current is anywhere from 80 to 90 amps at 12V. (I nearly purchased a 200amp alternator a while back while my full stereo was hooked up) I've build all of this at no cost so far. It's amazing what people just throw away. I wish I could post pictures up here.

Update, system has been working great for 8 months. Debating adding another thousand watt amp for another subwoofer. If anyone sees anyway I can improve this, please do. I'm open to suggestions and hoping there is a way to increase efficiency.
