Don't want to sound like a wise-ass, but just a short hint: This isn't a UPS, because it's not "u"ninterrupted. Even if the relay is relatively fast, there is allways an interruption while switching the sources. You could use this circuit for (home use) emergency lighting and stuff, but for sensitive loads like computers and such things it's way too slow and therefore not usable.
