@LeButch, there is no reason to be so unpleasant. I don’t think Jeff has done anything to deserve it. I bought iCircuit and really dislike it but we all have different views and perspectives on things.

There is good reason to be suspicious of users who exhibit similar behavior to that of a well known troll...

I have watched, like most of us, the recent disgusting behaviour of one particular individual posting useless circuits and vile language and racist comments and insults. I don't see the same pattern here. @jeff seems to want to learn. His circuit skills are not that good, yet. iCircuit does have some features or components I would like to see in Everycircuit BUT I do not like iCircuit at all. EC rules, but I don't mind @jeff saying he likes or prefers iCircuit as long as he doesn't keep banging on about it. I'll end my input here on this subject :-)

What if the competitor is making these crappy accounts. Look at most popular circuits, 20 bookmarks on all these improper circuits and then 10 comments on how great the circuit is.

Useless circuit, or extremely unskilled designer. Ignore.

It hasn't been updated for two years on Android, from reviews it seems it's unusable. Not interested.

Either the API 27 optimization should be released, or I'll stay not interested.

OK so if you need an alternative to EC that works then use an actual spice engine. LTspice is free as are the linux GNU spice engines including QUCS which isn't spice but will import .cir files. It is true that with spice its not as nice to enter circuits bit you cant have everything. EC still rules!

The android app wespice is the best option for smart phones. You can import .cir files from other simulation generator workflows.

Having said this, wespice is not intuitive at all and you have to really want to get this together to be bothered with it. I always go back to LTspice in the end as it works and there is support everywhere for it.

These spice engine software products do not compare to the amazing EC platform

Although it's not perfect (let's admit it, nothing in this universe is in general), EC will still be my go-to simulator.
