"Show Biz" makeup mirror has 10 watt bulbs spaced about 4 inches apart with the potentiometer a dimmer switch (Luxtrol, in days past) able to go from full bright to warm glow.
Simplier to make than I thought.
Start with fancy picture frame large enough to wire lamps in 20 X 30 inch square. Use pin sockets that simply force fit to hole size drilled in picture frame. Connect wire by screwing cap on socket back tight to force pins through insulation to conductor wire.
Remove picture and place mirror in frame. Recommend keeping total wattage below 200 watts.
