The circuit is designed for 3S lithium ion batteries, and therefore the minimum safe discharge voltage is at around 3*3 V = 9 V, which was where the circuit was evaluated at.
Steady state average current draw is at around 4 A.
The switching device should be a GaN FET, and the rectifier should be a SiC diode.
