My phone, like all cellphones, need 5V 1A. With 6V you'll destroy almost all kind of phone

Evry thing will be OK if you add a resistance strait with output to limit the voltage

While in reality we get 325 volts peak at the mains, not 230, which puts out 9.2 volts on the bridge!!!

Amplitude of ac equals to real measured voltage (near 230) multiplied by square root of 2, which gives peaks 324-325 volts at 230 volts measured. Remember, that it's not so ideal, e.g. amplitude, shape, some hum that you have in wires, jumps of electricity. You should use filters for protection.
