source is a decade counter CD4017 wired to count to six.  logic is three triple input OR gates on 74HC4075.

reversing the decade counter will swap the phases easily. 

this lets a single clock generate the phases to spin a three phase motor at different speeds governed by frequency, and a switch to toggle forward and reverse.
