@Matthew, Seralto is still learning, he hasn't got the biasing right yet but he is trying. Where is your circuit? I just wanted to check how your biasing is going, but cannot find your circuit.

@Seralto, these circuits work better if the diodes are on the collector side of the transistor. Also for oscillators of this type of circuit to self start, the base resistor needs to = the resistance in the collector circuit multiplied by the transistors forward gain. Adjust the biasing resistor in small steps to further obtain an easy starting circuit. The time base may also need to be adjusted.
