60Hz sinwave is without any harmonics. It only a base fundamental spectral line/energy/amplitude/magnitude sine wave. Nothing changes if you apply this to L and C and R networks, doesn't matter how big and complex it is. BUT, if you apply it to a nonlinear componente like a diode it does generate HARMONICS and takes energy from the single fundamental sine wave todo so ! Hope this helps!
