This circuit is more of a mind teaser than a practical thing.

It has what appears to be two switches and two leds connected in sequence with a single line, while each switch controls exactly one led.

SPOILER ALERT: It IS cute. But really no mystery. Follow the polarity of each component. Each switch is merely shorting out one half of the supply waveform. Then that current draw develops across the associated led with the correct polarity. This really IS a brain teaser. Congrats on a very neat truck. Well done!
