Circuit from Internet good for DIY flashlight
I build this with:
PNP  BD140
NPN  D882
Inductor  681uH
Resistor1  47.3k
Resistor2  46.7k (attached to ground and NPN transistor)
Capicator 100 100-U WIMA (i dont know capacity) 100nF or 10nF

Nice design basis, it's a bit hairy at 1mh, it's a lot better at 2mh or higher. Change the 100k down to about 80k.
