A very basic form of a sinusoidal oscillator. frequency = 1 / [2 * PI * sqrt(L * C)] Sqrt: is the square root. L: is the inductance. C: is the capacitance.

Whoa look what happens if you add a resister In parallel with the capacitor: it appears to produce the sine wave in the opposite state of the switch in the circuit without the resistor
